Chester Hotel Wedding: Daniel & Stephanie’s Spring Celebrations
It was a Chester Hotel wedding which opened my 2017 wedding season.
And I was really looking forward to working in such a beautiful place.
Stephanie and Daniel chose this stunning wedding venue to celebrate their special day.
And I was very pleased to be their wedding photographer, especially given the number of talented wedding photographers in Aberdeen.
On the day of their wedding I arrived early to take images of Stephanie and her bridesmaid getting ready.
Everyone was very excited, especially the bride to be who forgot to take her wedding dress with her!
But lucky for her Daniel saved the day.
Let’s take a closer look at this stunning Chester Hotel wedding.
The very spacious and beautifully decorated Bridal Suite, is one of the many benefits of a Chester Hotel wedding.
During the bridal preparation everyone had plenty of space to work in.
Which included a great support team made up of: Leah Dargie on hair; and Tracey Cepeda on make-up.
As I’m sure you will agree, Stephanie, her bridesmaid and her flower girl were looking stunning.
The beautiful wedding dress was Dinda Rella, and was actually bought in Bali.
And to finish the look, Steph was wearing stunning Ted Baker shoes.
The ceremony took place at the newly refurbished Marischal College, which has a fantastic courtyard for photographs.
Afterwards the wedding party made their way back to the hotel for the dinner reception.
Another major benefit of a Chester Hotel wedding is the versatility it provides.
You can have an intimate reception for 20, or a grand reception for 200.
The choice is completely yours.
As a wedding photographer in Aberdeen I’m always thinking about great places to take pictures, especially since you never know what the weather might do.
Despite the fact that the Chester Hotel is in the very centre of Aberdeen, they have some hidden spots that are perfect for stunning photographs.
Stephanie’s look was completed by lovely flowers, made by the very talented Nicky Walker.
Sadly the bride’s parents couldn’t make her wonderful Chester Hotel wedding.
But she was lucky to have a very supportive group of people around her.
And was able to have a short Skype conversation with her family on the day.
Cutting The Cake
The beautifully decorated cake was made by Celebration Cake Shop in Aberdeen.
All of the guests were very impressed by how it looked.
And I’m sure that it tasted incredible too.
Whilst all the guests were enjoying their drinks, I took Steph and Daniel for a little stroll around the Chester hotel.
The sun was down so we took some very atmospheric images, with some help of a flash and my assistant.
As a wedding photographer in Aberdeen, I know that the weather might be challenging.
Lucky for all of us on the day of Steph and Daniel’s wedding it stayed dry.
Stephanie and Daniel’s Chester Hotel wedding was truly amazing.
The whole day was filled with love and laughter.
Days like this make me glad I chose to become a wedding photographer in Aberdeen.
It’s amazing to be able to capture such precious moments, that couples will cherish forever.
Everyone involved did an amazing job of making sure that Stephanie and Daniels wedding was unforgettable.
